For those that have successfully completed Acting for Camera at The Actor Factory, or for those with extensive principal roles in SAG-AFTRA production, this on-camera "acting gym" is intended to be an ongoing class. Just as athletes keep going to the gym to stay in shape, so too do actors need to stay in training to keep their acting muscles honed.

Delve into longer scene study, while honing your craft for the lens. Dig deeper, get pushed harder and keep learning.
The class will cover all aspects of on-camera acting in six specific lessons. The many exercises will include hitting marks, continuity, eyeline, adjusting performance for the shot, and many more. The procedures of acting in a major film will also be covered, from the time the actor is cast, following the actor through wrap. Call sheets, contracts, pre-call expectations, the hierarchy of the set, how to read one-liner and Day out of Days schedules and more will be covered.
But most importantly, participants will be filmed in several on-set scenarios in a very active and upbeat classroom setting. Playback will be evaluated each week in class, followed by constructive critique from Cox; well-regarded as one of the most experienced on-camera actors in the region, and one of the most accomplished instructors of this craft.
REQUIREMENTS: MUST HAVE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED ACTING FOR CAMERA AT THE ACTOR FACTORY OR HAVE PRINCIPAL ROLE CREDITS IN SAG-AFTRA PRODUCTION
